ABOUT US

Tom Gregory
Campus minister
As I look forward to my third year as Campus Minister for the CSA, I am overwhelmed by the faithfulness of God. Our ministry has come SO far, and I believe God has even bigger things ahead. I do a lot of work behind the scenes here in the CSA planning retreats, balancing budgets, and organizing volunteers. I also teach Tuesday night Bible Study and oversee the Student Association's RCIA program. My MA is Catechetics and Evangelization, but unofficially I make sure there's no shortage of "Dad Jokes"

Fr. Paul Lacombe
CSA Chaplain
I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for us in the CSA! I am eager to spend time with you in celebrating the sacraments, and encountering the Lord in your hearts, as I listen, walking with you in Faith. However, I also enjoy debating the intricacies of the Harry Potter series, playing the occasional video game, and shooting the breeze with friends, cold beverage in hand. I am eager to meet you and to get to know you!

Throughout the first semester this year, we're going to be exploring the fundamentals of how to effectively study the Bible. We'll be learning both topical (finding out what the Bible has to say on certain topics) and expository (diving deep into particular passages) approaches. We will cover the science of Hermeneutics (interpretation of language) and principles of sound exegesis (leading out the meaning of text). Once we've built that foundation we will be tying in the use of Biblical encyclopedias and dictionaries, the writings of the Church Fathers and other Catholic commentaries, and the incorporation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. You'll have the "Ultimate Toolbox" for preparing YOUR OWN Bible study! It's going to be AH-MAZING!
